Philosopher's Path II , Kyoto, Japan

More sakura photos! Too beautiful to not post.

A small food stall along the river.

Spending the day surrounded by mother nature, enjoying the cool breeze, painting in silence with a favourite drink by the side. I didn't dare disturb by approaching too near.

Surprise! A rose bush belonging to a resident.

Souvenirs are so cute i wished i could bring them allll home. But i can't so the pictures will do.

Philosopher's Path, Kyoto, Japan

There's a whole stretch of walking path in Kyoto lined with various varieties of cherry blossom trees. Strolling under the endless trees with pink petals falling and river flowing makes me feel like i'm literally in a korean love drama.

Philosopher's Path.

And they drive past as though it's everyday they see roads lined with pink trees.

Paint me!

门前的樱花树. I decided it's not that awesome cos it blooms for only a week and the rest of the year all you see everyday is a lousy bald tree. But it's exactly the rarity that makes it extra beautiful.

How sweet is this!

I hope they catch something.

Cues korean love song and sounds of girls calling 'oppa!!!'

Flowers overload. This is what spring is all about.

The London Palladium, West End London

This is one of my dreams come true, catching a musical at West End. Although not a classic one as i had hoped for but it's good enough. Next: Broadway!

Marie, sean, me and alicia :)

Purchasing the tickets at Piccadilly. Phone booths!

I HAD to buy the programme.

I look forward to catching les mis one day so that i could sing along to the hopeless tunes of Eponine! But not with my colleagues cos they'd think i'm a nerd.

Jacob doll pees

I also watched Twilight Eclipse when i was in Johannesburg. Aside from being most cheesy i also noticed one thing: their army of new vampires is multi-racial hahahhaha like Barney or Banana in Pajamas (if you noticed there is a white, a brown and a yellow bear).

Good show!

Waka waka

I am in Johannesburg, South Africa now! Home of FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 woohoo!!!! Don't ask me whether i went to watch a live match because i didn't :( Last minute tickets couldn't be confirmed and apparently we had to buy them at the stadium itself but still that's not a guarantee. What killed us was the tickets were selling for 2400ZAR = around 500SGD -_- So much for seeing Casillas live.

So we ended up in front of a loserly big screen watching the quarter-finals Paraguary-Spain but it was huuuuuge and 3D! So not too bad i guess. We were comforted by telling ourselves we are at least in the city soaking in the atmosphere haha!

My friends wanted to buy vuvuzelas hahhaa for what!!!!

Maruyama Park, Kyoto, Japan

Some night shots. My camera takes lousy night shots so i only edited some of the better ones.

Kodai-ji at night.

We had a bit of fun spinning those cylinders. I dunno watsit called sorry heh.

Lovely path at night that leads out of the temple. We actually ventured out to find maruyama park but got quite lost after a while, and started to explore random temple grounds.

Another random beautiful European-styled hotel. Reminds me of Christmas :)

Sakura tree light-up.

The highlight of our night adventure: the famous large sakura tree at Maruyama park.

Managed to catch a glimpse of Geishas finally!
Our beautiful room in Kyoto; the best one of our entire trip. A bit wasted though cos we did not spend much time in the room. Plus it was pretty big, could have contained 2 more people. But nevermind, a nice night of pampering after an exhausting day out.

Super happy with our room! :))))

Inclusive of Japanese crepes with red bean fillings yummy! But we already had our fill of it at a tidbit shop sampling what must have been a dozen of their different flavoured fillings.
